So I finally got around to watching the new season of Doctor Who (the first season with the Eleventh Doctor).  I must say, I thought i was was setting myself up for disappointment.  I absolutely LOVED David Tennant as Ten, and I didn’t think I would enjoy Mr. Matt Smith as much.  I must say, I was pleasantly surprised.  Matt Smith is a very young guy (cast at the age of 26, he’s the youngest doctor ever, three years younger than Five when he was cast) and I love how this young guy has this world-weary view on everything, yet at the same time he’s quirky and funny.

He is truly a madman with a box, and I hope he stays on as the Doctor for years to come.

I just really, really love hearing stories like this. Thank you for existing.
