I apologize in advance for how much of a bitch I’m about to be.

I’m speaking as a Magnus/Will shipper. A very big one. We don’t have to do anything, actually. I quite like being in my corner of the web where I have lots of fun with my fellow shipper friends. We know our ship isn’t canon, so we get very excited and passionate over the moments that we do get. There is not one thing wrong with that. I find it incredibly ridiculous that you’re going to let our happiness ruin your enjoyment of a quality show. It’s this sort of intolerance and judgmental behavior that really segregates the Sanctuary fandom, and that’s sad.

And no, I’m not saying that if you’re a Magnus/Will shipper, you’re automatically awesome and don’t have the potential to be batshit insane (every ship has this, come on), but it’s just bad, bad class to single out one group of shippers. There are plenty of other ships in the fandom that have just as vocal, passionate shippers (Teslen, anyone?).

So here’s a suggestion: why don’t you go to your corner of the internet, enjoy a show without giving a fuck that there’s people in another corner shipping something you don’t, and heaven forbid, they’re happy about it.

And you’re damn right I’m proud of my ship. I love it. I’m very emotionally invested in these two characters and their journey together, so don’t you dare shame me for any of that.
